Ristorante Miky, Monterosso al Mare, Cinque Terre

Miky's is a typical Italian restaurant, with a veranda opened onto the marvellous sea of Monterosso al Mare and a comfortable inner garden.

The site is extremely charming. The restaurant looks onto one of the loveliest beaches of the Cinque Terre, and it is just 100m both from Monterosso railway station and from the only guarded parking in the village.

The restaurant is run by the Defina family, who entirely devote to the restaurant as it were their second home!

The chef is Miky, alias Mr Defina; Simonetta and Sara - Mrs and Miss Defina - look after the dining room and the guests; Sara is also the pastry cook.

The rest of the personnel has been accurately selected, in order to offer a satisfactory and efficient service; the personnel can correctly speak English, French and German: foreign guests will thus feel comfortable, just like at home!

At Miky's you can try a wide variety of hors d'oeuvre, home-made pasta, fish, lobsters, fresh shellfishes, prepared after the traditional Ligurian cooking, in the wood-burning oven or salty.

Daily haul is displayed on the funny "show-boat", in the hall, while the aquarium keeping local lobsters in the inner garden, allows the guests to personally choose their lunch.

Last but not least, home-made cakes, and a good Sciacchetrà offered by the Definas to all their guests.
